Jane A. Ljubich passed away at her home in Anacortes on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the age of 77 years. She was born February 26, 1926 in Plattsburg, New York the daughter of Adrian and Arthrilla LaBrun Colville. She served as a nurse with the US Navy during WWII and she later married Frank Ljubich and they have resided in Anacortes for the past 57 years. She took care of 51 foster children and she was known for her cooking abilities and she enjoyed working with ceramics and cut glass. Jane is survived by her husband Frank of Anacortes, A daughter Jane Roper of Buford, Georgia and a son Mike Ljubich of Anacortes and 1 granddaughter and 2 great grandchildren. A brother Bernie Colville of Lakeland, FL, a sister Gwen White of San Diego, CA and a close family friend Ginny Ankney-Bennett of Mount Vernon.
