JOAN MAY HANSON, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at her home in Clear Lake, WA at the age of 71. She was born June 19, 1931 in Wenatchee, Washington the daughter of Robin E. and Edith Thompson Douglas. Joan was raised in Wenatchee and the Rock Island areas of Eastern Washington. She has been a resident of Clear Lake for the past 10 years previously residing in Bothell and Friday Harbor. Joan worked as a loan officer for Rainier Bank and various other financial institutions over the years. She was married to Francis D. Hanson in Seattle, WA on July 4, 1978. Joan enjoyed gardening, flowers, painting, dancing, and sports of all kinds.
She is survived by her husband Francis D. Hanson of the family home in Clear Lake. 2 sons Randall R. Lowe of Day Creek, WA and Scott B. Cave of Seattle, WA. Grandchilden Michelle Lowe of Mount Vernon, WA and Brandon and Maverick Lowe of Day Creek, WA. A sister Kay Williams and a cousin John Dick both of Wenatchee, WA.
