Joe Del Bosque, a resident of Sedro-Woolley for the past 46 years, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at his home at the age of 61 years. He was born on January 7, 1942 in Jame’, Coah. Mexico, the son of Francisco and Manuela Sanchez Del Bosque.
Joe was married to Wanda James on May 7, 1965 in Sedro-Woolley and he worked as a repairman and led fire crews for the Department of Natural Resources. He enjoyed gardening and mechanics and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Joe is survived by his wife, Wanda Del Bosque, at the family home in Sedro-Woolley. 5 children, Stephanie Del Bosque of Sedro-Woolley, Cynthia Wilkerson and her husband Jim of Sedro-Woolley, Michael Del Bosque and his wife Angie of Stanwood, Elizabeth Del Bosque of Anchorage, AK, and Matthew Del Bosque of Burlington. His parents, Francisco and Manuela Del Bosque of Mexico. 3 grandchildren, Melissa and Ben Wilkerson and Jacob Del Bosque. 2 brothers, Jess Del Bosque and his wife Barbara of Mount Vernon and John Del Bosque and his wife Lourdes of Mexico. 3 sisters, Lydia Trevino and her husband Maggie of Burlington, Nellie Ramos and her husband Joe of Longview, and Hilda Velasquez and her husband Dale of Burlington. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 28, 2003 at 3:00PM at the Eagles Hall at the corner of Warner and Metcalf, Sedro-Woolley with Rosalie Robles of the Federation of Christian Ministries officiating. Memorials are suggested to Parkinson’s Disease Research. Arrangements and cremation under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
