JOYCE RAY AUSTIN, a longtime Concrete resident passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at home. She was 68 years old. Joyce was married to James Francis Austin in January of 1966 at Winterhaven, CA. For many years she was a member of the Concrete Eagles Aire #1444 and she also did charity work for the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association.
Joyce is survived by her husband of the family home, 5 daughters, 4 sons, 27 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 sisters.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church in Concrete, with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating. Cremation and arrangements under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, WA.
