Kelly Diane Knowles, age 35, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. She was born July 16, 1973 in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Patrick and Vickie Svoboda Wheeler.
Kelly grew up in Nebraska and Utah attending school and graduated from Layton High School in 1991. She then attended Weber State and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography. She was married to Michael Knowles on August 28, 1999 in Everett and they resided there and Burlington until moving to Sedro-Woolley 22 months ago. Kelly enjoyed gardening, scrapbooking, photography, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Knowles and their son Kyle of the family home in Sedro-Woolley. A foster son, Robert West of Everett. Her parents, Patrick and Vickie Wheeler of Layton, UT, her grandmother, Juanita Wheeler of Kansas and a sister, Kristy Porter and her husband Jason of Logan, UT.
Funeral Services will be Monday, June 22, 2009 at 11:00AM at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Erik Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
