Kerry David Scott

Tuesday, October 7th, 2003

Private First Class Kerry David Scott recently gave his life serving his country outside of Baghdad. Kerry was born June 16, 1982 in Germany to David Scott and Paula Hartzell.
He spent time in Louisiana, Tennessee and Mississippi before settling in Skagit County in 1993. He attended school in Concrete before joining the U.S. Army as an infantryman.
Kerry’s love of family was evident in his close relationship with his siblings. His loss will be felt by his sister Charity and his brothers Justin, Corey and Brian all at the family home in Mount Vernon. Kerry also leaves behind his beloved parents, David and Sherry Scott of Mount Vernon and Paula Hartzell of Iowa; paternal grandparents Gerald and Barbara Scott of Mississippi. ‘Our soldier has touched many lives and will be sorely missed by his many friends and family.’
Graveside Military Services will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at 2:00PM at the Forest Park Cemetery in Concrete, WA. You are invited to share your thoughts and memories of Kerry by signing our online guestbook at www.lemleychapel.com. Arrangements and Services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
