Larry Wayne Lamkin passed away suddenly at his home in Sedro-Woolley, WA on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 at the age of 36 years. He was born December 7, 1965 in Westminster, MD the son of Donald E. and Glenna Jean Tennison Lamkin. Larry was a resident of Skagit Valley for the past four years residing in Concrete and Sedro-Woolley. He formally worked as an electrician and was presently employed as a commercial fisherman. Larry loved to snow ski, mountain bike, and work on building his custom dream truck a 1979 GMC Blazer. Larry is survived by his father and stepmother Donald and Bonnie Lamkin of Colorado City, CO and two sisters Jeanette Lamkin Briggs of Concrete, WA and Jennifer Vulgamott of Union Star, MO. Nephews and niece Loren, Dallas, and Savannah Vulgamott of Union Star, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother Glenna Jean Lamkin and his twin brother Harold Wade Lamkin.
A Gathering of friends and family to celebrate Larry’s life will be held Saturday, May 25, 2002 at the Northern Peaks Christian Fellowship Church on Hiway 20 in Sedro-Woolley, WA from 2:00PM to 4:00PM. Memorials are suggested to the Epilepsy Foundation. Arrangements and cremation under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, WA.
