Leslie David Tracy, age 80, passed away Monday, October 2, 2006 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA. He was born June 17, 1926 in Hoquiam, WA, the son of Ralph and Reva Riggles Tracy.
Les was raised in the Sedro-Woolley area and served with the US Army and Merchant Marine during WWII. He has been a resident of the Big Lake area for the past 55 years and worked in the logging industry. He enjoyed the outdoors and for 19 years, was the Boy Scout Ranger at the Big Lake Boy Scout Camp.
He is survived by his son, Bob Tracy and his wife Judith of Marysville. 3 grandchildren, Bobbie Minish and her husband Jess of Darrington, Billie Siemering and her husband Ken of Granite Falls, and Daniel Tracy of Marysville. 7 great-grandchildren, Jamee, and his wife Erin, Jackie, Justin, Jesse and his wife Leanna, Tyler, Anthony, and Nikki. 1 great-great-grandchild, Adrie. A sister, Edith of Marysville. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Alice in 1993, and a brother Don. Inurnment will be in the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
