Lori Binford, 61, died on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. She was born in Seattle, Washington and was raised in Seattle and Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from high school in Lester, Washington and then attended Green River Community College in King County.
Lori worked for Payless Drugs as a trainer, then later for Ace Hardware and Champion Air Compressors as a national accounts manager. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loring and Virginia Thomas.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Binford. Her children, Denna Simoneau, Dan and Debbie Jones and Jenni and Daniel Harvey, Julie and David Daire and Jill and John Kowalczyk. 14 grandchildren, Bob, Trishia, Tony, Adaam, Alexia, Patrick, Kyle, Ryan, Danielle, Eric, Dillon, Cody, Nick and Dustin. 3 sisters, Eileen, Julie and Margaret; her brother, Robert and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley. Viewing will be on Wednesday, March 18th and Thursday, March 19th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Friday, March 20th from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. The family will receive guests from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday. A Fellowship will follow at the American Legion in Sedro-Woolley.
The family requests memorials be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America in lieu of flowers.
