MABEL GEORGIA WORNER passed away on April 21, 2005 at the Life Care Center, Sedro-Woolley, Washington at the age of 86. Born October 2, 1918 in Tintah, Minnesota. She was the youngest of 4 children born to Richard and Blanch Cross. She was united in marriage to Lester Worner on October 30, 1938 and they had two children. Son, Orval resides in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, with his wife, Chris and grandson, Ben. Daughter, June West and her husband Rodney with their two grandchildren, Erica and Alicia West, reside in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Mabel was active in the community of Wheaton for a number of years working at the community hospital. Later she formed the Minnkota Collection and Credit Service which she operated for 17 years and she won many awards for her outstanding abilities. After retirement, she moved to Wahpeton, North Dakota. She enjoyed being with the grandchildren and visiting friends and relatives in the area. Mabel was a kind and loving woman and had a great zest for life. In 1997 she moved to Sedro-Woolley, WA where she entered a care facility.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lester in 1996, her siblings Agnes Payton, Lawrence Cross, Orval Cross and her parents.

There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 611 ‘ 5th Street North, Breckenridge, Minnesota.
