MARIAN ELAINE LEAGUE, 79, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, Washington on Saturday October 23, 2004.
She was born on September 10, 1925 in Cleburne, Texas, the daughter of Ben and Violet Aston George.
Marian had been a resident of Kansas City, Missouri since 1950 where she owned and operated her own catering business, The Catering Place. She was also the Director of Food Services at the Kansas City Art Institute. In her leisure time, Marian enjoyed playing Bridge.
She is survived by her children, Cindy Stears of Marblemount, WA, Jeff League of Boise, ID, and Susan League of St. Paul, MN. 5 grandchildren, Melissa Stears, Joshua League, Ben Kuenzli-League, Violet Dawn League and Aruna K. League. 1 great-grandson, Nicholas William League and 1 sister, Gloria Kinney of Palatine, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Caya Marie Blessing League.
