MARJORIE M. WISE, 77, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday July 25, 2004.
She was born on March 14, 1927 in Chino, California, the daughter of William & Nona Melchi Aberle.
She was raised and attained her education in the Chino area, graduating from Chaffey High in Ontario, CA in 1946. Shortly after graduation she was united in marriage to Wayne Wise in Ontario and they made their home in California and Nevada until coming to Sedro-Woolley in 1989.
Marjorie was a very active member of the First Baptist Church in Sedro-Woolley, where she served on the Missions Committee, the Women’s Missionary Prayer Fellowship Committee and the Hospitality Committee. She was active in her church but her most cherished activity was spending with time with her grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wayne, at the family home. 3 sons, Randy Wise, Ed Wise and wife Cindy and Darrell Wise and wife Jodie, all of Sedro-Woolley. 11 grandchildren, James Rondi, Jeremy Tessa, Shandra, Justin Jamie, Brewster, Travis, Dillon, Kadin, Mason and Ashtyn Wise and Matt MacCall; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Nicky and Barry John Wise, her twin brother, Marvin Aberle and a half-brother, Jack Morford.Since Marjorie was so active in the church missionary work they suggest memorials be made to the Missions Program c/o the First Baptist Church in Sedro-Woolley.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday July 31, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Richard Coursen officiating. Interment will follow at Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
