Mark Henry Westre passed away Monday, August 19, 2002 at the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA at the age of 55 years. He was born August 19, 1947 in Seattle, WA the son of Chester and Janet Braun Westre. Mark was a resident of Sedro-Woolley for the past two years and formally resided in Burlington, Everett, and the Seattle area. He worked as a steamfitter for many years and was a member of United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #265 of Everett and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Mark enjoyed playing the guitar, mandolin, and harmonica in various bands including the Free Lunch Conspiracy in the Everett area. He is survived by his children Woodrow Westre and his wife Crystal of Sedro-Woolley, Annjeanette Mae Westre of Everett, and Sonia Carrier of Anacortes. 2 brothers Thomas D. Westre of Snohomish and Keith F. Westre of Seattle. 2 Sisters Maren Elizabeth McGee of Snohomish and Ann Cecille Hixon of Hood River, OR. Numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Saturday August 24, 2002 at 11:00AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Pat McDermott as Celebrant. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Arrangements and cremation under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
