Martha J. ‘Martie’ Schulze, age 61, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2007 at her home in Burlington, WA.
She was born February 9, 1945 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Sylvester and Cheryl Sherman Warwick.
Martha was a resident of Burlington for the past 12 years and formally resided in the Hamilton area for many years. She worked as a waitress-bartender in the restaurant business for many years and she enjoyed collecting nick-nack’s. She was married to Gordon Schulze on December 14, 1985 in Sedro-Woolley.
She is survived by her husband Gordon Schulze of Burlington. A son Jerry Michelsen of Oregon City, OR and a step-son Gordon Schulze Jr. and his wife, Teresa of Wenatchee. 4 grandchildren, Jeremey Michelsen, Nicole Davis, and Trevor and Justin Schulze. A sister, Alice Gibbs of Salem, OR and a brother, Wayne Warwick of Camas, WA. A sister-in-law, Bonnie Wolfe of Concrete and numerous brothers and sisters-laws and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Donny Coller in 1988.
Graveside Services will be Friday, February 2, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Cemetery with Pastor Ron Edwards of the Hamilton Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements and Services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
