MARTY PAUL PALMER, 42, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away at his home on Friday October 3, 2003.
He was born on March 18, 1961 in Yakima, WA the son of Lloyd ‘Les’ and Mary E. Jordan Palmer.
Marty grew up and attended school in Sedro-Woolley.
He was united in marriage to Christina Wackerly in La Conner on September 4, 1993 and they made their home in Sedro-Woolley.
Marty was an excellent craftsman in the cabinet and building trade and he enjoyed sharing his skills with his family and friends. He also enjoyed building model airplanes, fly fishing, camping, music and get togethers with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Christina Wackerly Palmer, & loving daughter, Katrina Rayann Palmer of Sedro-Woolley. His son’s, Jeremiah Palmer of Bellingham, and Brad Wackerly, and his grandson Bryce Wackerly of Sedro-Woolley. His mother, Mary Jordan of Mount Vernon and his father, Les Palmer Janet of Sterling, Alaska. A sister, Cynthia Robison of Mount Vernon. 2 brothers, Victor Palmer Laura of Anacortes and Christopher Palmer of Sedro-Woolley. His grandfather, Lloyd Palmer Alida of Mount Vernon. 5 nephews, Derek, Eric and Doug Palmer and Jacob & Joshua Robison. 2 nieces, Shana Marie and Jennifer Palmer. 3 uncles, Dave & Ben Palmer and John Green; an aunt, Candace Morrison, and a cousin, Niles ‘Sonny’ Jordan. A brother-in-law, Jerry Salaz Kerry, Jeremy, Jason & Jared, 2 sisters-in-law, Gloria Salaz Chuck Hensley and Bettina Wallace Page Desiree, Nicole & Brittany. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul & Evelyn Jordan and Junia Palmer, and a cousin David Jordan.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the family to help with funeral and living expenses.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley. Pastor Gerald Dalke of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon officiating. Visitation will be available at Lemley Chapel thru services on Saturday.
