Maxwell Lowell Ruyle, infant son of Marcus and Jennifer Ruyle was born on December 6, 2002 in Bellevue, WA and passed away on March 5, 2003, at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon. He was 3 months of age.
Maxwell, you were so eager to meet the world, that you came to us a month early. Our greatest wish delivered from above ‘ a perfect baby boy. You completed the circle of our family, and each day you were with us was far better than the best day you were not. Each day you were here will live on forever, as those were the most blessed days of our lives.
If only the world shared your thirst for life and your pure heart, we would all be fat with joy. Someone else, someone far greater than us all, was also drawn to your light and our pain is now heaven’s gain.
We were not ready to let you go. We were just getting to know each other, and though our bodies have lost touch, our minds and spirits will never part.
Thank you Max, thank you for sharing your beautiful light with us. Thank you for the joy. Thank you for the wonderful memories. Thank you for giving us all something to look forward to when our time comes. In the meantime, please keep watch over us and use your wonderful light to help guide our way through the dark so that we may meet again. Pass our deepest thanks along to your new friend in heaven for sharing you with us ‘ if only for a moment. We love and miss you more than these words could ever express. See you soon Max.
Maxwell is survived by his parents, Marcus and Jennifer Ruyle of Mount Vernon; his sisters, Rian and Parker Jade Ruyle at the family home; his grandparents: ‘Grandpa and Grandpa’ Verne and Linda Ruyle of Birdsview; ‘Nana’ Susan Farrow of Pendleton, Oregon; ‘Gamma’ Kathleen Abhold of Mount Vernon; ‘Bompa’ Richard Hammond of Bellingham. His great-grandparents: ‘Grandma and Papa’ Billie and Helen Ruyle of Birdsview and ‘Gram’ Lucy Hammond of Preston, Iowa. Aunt and uncle, Devin and Nicole Ruyle of Surrey, B.C., aunt Michelle Marcus of Philadelphia, PA, and uncle Danny Marcus of Chicago. IL. Also numerous other close family and loved ones.
