MICHAEL F. IRVIN, 57, a Rockport, WA resident passed away at his home on Thursday February 6, 2003.
Mike was born on October 10, 1945 in Washington, DC, the son of Carroll W. & Norma J. Cotton Irvin. He was raised and attended school in Redwood City, CA. He served in the U.S. Navy, during the Viet Nam Conflict from 1963 to 1965. Mike worked as a carpenter in the home construction & remodel industry for many years in the Redding and Clear Lake areas of California. He enjoyed photography, fishing, watching wildlife, camping, rodeos, fireworks and life in general. He was a member of the Osage Indian Nation. He has made his home in Rockport, WA for the past 10 years. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Fitzgerald of Oakland, CA, Jody Williams of Lakeport, CA and Lisa Jones of Willits, CA. 4 grandchildren, Kodey, Jesse, Kayla and Dillon. His mother, Norma Jean Gerbis and 2 sisters, Beverly Gianino-Lakey and Debbie Davis, all of Kelseyville, CA. He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter Hannah.
