MIRIAM R. DRISCOLL, 82, a former Sedro-Woolley resident passed away on Sunday February 16, 2003 in a Bellevue Care Facility.
She was born on September 29, 1920 in Deerfield, Michigan, the daughter of Reverend William A. & Erna Roeser Gregory. She was raised and attended school in Clio, Michigan. It was there that she was united in marriage to William D. Driscoll on June 26, 1941 and they made their home in Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin. For over 20 years she and her husband Bill owned and operated Zannacker’s Dry Cleaning in Manitowoc, until coming to Skagit County in 1979. They settled in Sedro-Woolley in 1981 where they made their home together until William’s death in 1989. Miriam was an active member at the Central United Methodist Church in Sedro-Woolley until moving to the Kirkland / Bellevue area in 1998.
Miriam is survived by her 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Bill & Kristina Driscoll of Redmond, WA, Timothy & Martha Driscoll of St. Louis, MO and Daniel & Jane Driscoll of Bellevue, WA. Her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Michael Stephenson of Eugene, OR. 7 grandchildren, T.J., Melinda, Dan, Kathryn & Jody Driscoll and Kate & Kelly Jane Stephenson. 2 sisters, Gladys Campbell and Carolyn Frasier and 3 brothers, Doctors Robin and William Gregory and John Gregory.
The family suggests memorials be made to Central United Methodist Church in Sedro-Woolley.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday February 22, 2003 at 12 Noon at the Central United Methodist Church in Sedro-Woolley. Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. Private interment will be at Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery.
