Patricia Emma Noyes, age 79, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2004 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley, WA. She was born November 16, 1924 in Colfax, WA, the daughter of Joe and Amanda Hamilton Kowol. Amanda later married Charles Cramer who lovingly raised Patricia.
Patricia grew up in the Hamilton area, the town founded by her great-grandfather. She attended the nursing school at Providence Hospital in Everett and later attended the University of Washington majoring in drama. She was married to Allan Noyes on November 27, 1946 in Mount Vernon, WA. He preceded her in death in 1998.
They spent time in Philadelphia, PA, Oregon and Alaska before moving to the Skagit Valley in 1953, first living in Sedro-Woolley and settling in Burlington. While maintaining a residence in Burlington, she and Allan resided in Kitsap County where she operated an antique store.
Patricia was active in Eastern Star and was Mother Advisor to the Burlington Rainbow Girls. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and loved animals. Patricia was a very loving, family-oriented person who was very patriotic and enjoyed supporting multiple charities.
She is survived by her daughters, Karan, and her husband James C. Dawson of Seattle and Sabra Noyes of Port Orchard; grandchildren Nathaniel Dawson of Burlington and Susan Dawson of Seattle.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Mike Osborne of the Hamilton Community Church officiating.
