PEARL L. TAYLOR, 82, a lifelong Skagit County resident passed away Monday May 6, 2002 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley.
She was born on December 19, 1919 in Burlington, WA, the daughter of Frank & Ethel Glenman Parker. Pearl was raised and attended grade school in Hamilton and was an alumni of Sedro-Woolley High School with the class of 1938.
She was united in marriage to Richard Taylor in Sedro-Woolley on February 12, 1938 and they made their home in Sedro-Woolley for many years. Pearl was the bookkeeper for her husband’s logging business, Taylor Brother’s Logging for over 40 years. Pearl enjoyed golf, knitting, jigsaw puzzles and loved music of all kinds. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sedro-Woolley for over 50 years. She was involved with many works of organizations over the years. She devoted most of her life to her husband and family.
Richard preceded her in death in 1990.
Pearl is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard Dean & his wife Virginia ‘Ginger’ Taylor of Coupeville, WA. Her daughter Carole Darlene Taylor of Sedro-Woolley, WA. Her mother, Ethel Miller of Sedro-Woolley. 1 brother Donald Parker of Kent, WA. 6 grandchildren; Kelli Bradshaw and her husband Larry, Vicki Marsh and her husband Gary, Sean Taylor and his wife Michelle, Jim Teeters and his wife Cindy, Jeff Teeters, Amanda Ball and her husband Bill. 10 great-grandchildren Ryan Eerkes, Mathew Eerkes, Stephenie Eerkes, Nicole Bradshaw, Jason Bogle, Holly Bogle, Taylor Marsh, Michael Zenger, Susan Zenger, and Richard Teeters, Jr.
