Peggy Ann Jackson Hardin Stueve, age 57, went to be with her Lord, on Friday, September 10, 2004 in Los Alamitos, CA.
She was born January 25, 1957 in Sedro-Woolley, WA, the daughter of Samuel and Edna West Jackson. Peggy grew up in Sedro-Woolley where she attended school and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School with the Class of 1965.
She began her career in the medical care field while still in high school, working as a candy striper and later worked for many years as an executive secretary for the hospital administrator at United General Hospital.
She was married to Robert L. Hardin from which her son, Bradley, was born. She later married Randall Stueve in Sedro-Woolley in 1979. Peggy and Randy resided in the Skagit Valley for many years until moving to Lakewood, CA in 1993.
She enjoyed coupon clipping, cards, her cats, roses, life in general, but most of all her family.
She is survived by her husband, Randy, of the family home in Lakewood, CA. Her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Amy Hardin of Lakewood, CA. Her mother, Edna Jackson and her brother and sister-in-law, Leonard and Terry Jackson all of Burlington. A niece and nephew, Kelsie Jackson of Burlington and Bryan Michalinos of Shelton, WA. Two aunts, Alice Poe of Sedro-Woolley and Arretta Price of Lyman. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lou Price; grandparents, Paul and Belle West; father, Samuel Jackson; sister, Carelee Kelli Michalinos; aunts, Lugene Townsend, Ruby Fewell and Marie Quinnell, and eleven cousins in Utah, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, Texas, and North Carolina.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 18, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Lemley Chapel in Sedro-Woolley with Pastor Mark Denham of the Burlington Alliance Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery. ‘A bright and shinning star is now in heaven.’ Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
