Surrounded by her loving family, Phyllis Regina Reinhold, was welcomed into heaven on June 21, 2004 following an extended illness at the age of 61 years. She was born to Florin and Carrie Worth Van Vleck on May 6th, 1943 in Kansas City, MO.
She moved her family to Burlington in 1976 from California. There she took her love of antiques and turned it into a career. She belonged to many different clubs and organizations over the years. Phyllis enjoyed family BBQ’s, summer concerts, fairs, antiquing, estate and yard sales, crafts and sewing. Her passion was her grandchildren in which she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her companion Chuck Sween of Burlington. 6 children Don and his wife Cindy Gerrior of Mount Vernon, Lois Jewell and her companion Dave Bailey of Lummi Island, Rhonda and her husband Mike McLaughlin of Anacortes, Scott Jewell of Seattle, Tom Jewell of Sedro-Woolley, and Gina and her husband Dan Black of Ellensburg. 9 grandchildren Jesse and Josh Jewell, Tanner and Camden McLaughlin, Saralyn and Thomas Jewell, and Kyle, Miranda, and Julia Jewell. Brothers and sisters Larry Van Vleck of AZ, Beth and her husband Pete Peters of GA, Edith Roberts of Hamilton, WA, Edward and his wife Georgine Van Vleck of MT, Evelyn and her husband Hank Ayers of AZ, and Karen and her husband E.A. Taylor of SC. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a special grandson Jacob Jewell, and a sister and brother-in-law Doris and Arnie Utter.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley with Pastor David Orendorff of the United Methodist Church of Anacortes officiating.
