She and Chuck opened and owned Pendergrast Jewelry, a successful retail store in Clear Lake. Rose specialized in repairing clock while Chuck concentrated on more intricate watch repairs. They were avid travelers and loved ‘trailering’, especially in their later years together.
Rose loved music of all kinds, including singing. She loved reading her Bible, and worshipping her Lord at the Clear Lake Community Covenant Church, where she was a lifetime active member. She volunteered countless hours in the service of her church and her Clear Lake Community.
