Rose Good Abrahamson, age 93, a beloved wife and mother and a fourth generation Skagit Valley resident, passed away after a brief illness Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the Life Care Center of Skagit Valley in Sedro-Woolley. She was born April 5, 1911 in Burlington, WA the daughter of Arthur and Mable Warfield Good. Rose was a resident of Sedro-Woolley for the past 45 years. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Ed Abrahamson of the family home in Sedro-Woolley. Her son Doug Abrahamson of Big Lake and a daughter Sandy Abrahamson of Sedro-Woolley. 4 grandchildren Jennifer, Steve, Stephanie, and Angie and 2 great grandchildren Kellen and Kailee Rose. A sister Esther Richmeyer of Concrete.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Carol, her son Edwin, 4 brothers Allen ‘Bus’ Good, Armine ‘Tat’ Good, Weldon ‘Bubs’ Good, and Homer ‘Duck’ Good and a sister Freda Parker.
A Memorial Gathering at her home at 320 Township will be held Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 1:00PM. The family requests that any floral arrangements that are sent, be the type that could be planted in the spring in Rose’s memory. Arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
