RUSSELL ALMOR BECKMAN, 79, a resident of Rockport passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon. Russell was born October 11, 1925 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, the son of Myron and Opal Beckman.
He was united in marriage to Marguerite W. Black in Chilliwack, B.C., Canada on October 11, 1970. Later he moved to Seattle where he worked as a police officer for six years, later working as a bus driver for thirty years, traveling all over the United States for the Greyhound Bus Company. He and his family moved to Rockport in 1980. Russell was an avid football fan and was known as a very good Democrat.
At his request there will be no services. Cremation and arrangements under the direction of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
