Stanley Bakke, 98, of Mount Vernon, Washington passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022.  Stanley was born May 7, 1924, in Saxon, WA to Sven and Ellen Bakke.  He was married to Mary Ellen Pulsipher on January 22, 1946, until her passing in November 2013.

Stanley was the owner/operator of the ENCO service station in Sedro-Woolley, WA for many years.  He also worked for the Oldsmobile dealership in Mount Vernon and the Sedro-Woolley School District.  He was a long-time member of the Mount Vernon Elks Lodge and his favourite hobby was woodworking.

Stanley is survived by his sister, Ina Harris of Wickersham, WA; sons, Kenneth of Mount Vernon, Stephen (Susan) of Wickenburg, Arizona; grandson, Trevor (Jenni) Bakke of Tigard, Oregon; granddaughter, Shayla (Benjamin) Boykin of Bonsal, California; Stanley was also blessed with numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service for Stanley will be held at 1:00 pm, December 13, 2022 at the Saxon Cemetery, Acme.  Please share your memories of Stanley and sign the online guest register.
