William Rand Jensen passed away Thursday, October 10, 2002 in Mount Vernon, WA at the age of 40 years. He was born August 7, 1962 in Twin Falls, Idaho the son of William and Clara Mae Mercer Jensen, Sr. William was a resident of Sedro-Woolley and Mount Vernon for 26 years and he also resided in Dallas, TX for 5 years. He worked as a welder for Granite Construction and he enjoyed fishing, music, his family, and he was very devoted to his dog Chelsy. William was married to Pamela Wegers on May 3, 1987 in Dallas, TX. He is survived by his wife Pamela at the family home in Concrete. His children Robin Jensen of Washington, William Jensen of Bellingham and Crystal Frazier of LaFollette, TN. 2 step-sons, Duane and Raymond Ross, both of Concrete. 2 step-grandchildren, Tanner and Dallen Ross of Concrete. His father William Jensen, Sr. of Bow, WA. A sister Rosalie Mae Lewis and her husband Bill of Concrete, and a brother Lealand John Mercer and his wife Clarice of Boise, ID. 5 nieces, Brandy and Jessie Lewis, Lorrie Hanson, Shelly Young and Jennifer Fountain. 4 great-nephews Aaron Lewis, Jacob Fountain, Drew Anderson and Ryan Hanson. 5 great-nieces, Billie Dawn Lewis-Labrec, Clarissa & Chelsea Pierce, Heather Anderson and Tori Singleton. Numerous aunts, uncles, & other nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Clara Mae Jensen and a brother Mike Young.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 15, 2002 at 2:00 PM at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. Pastor Bruce Martin of the Concrete Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Sedro-Woolley Union Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Catholic Community Services Agency for Children.
