We are so sorry for your sudden loss, our thoughts and prayers are with the family. April was one of our daughter Ashleigh’s coaches in youth cheer and had a great time being a part of her squad. She will be deeply missed.

April: Without the opportunity to tell you to your face, I’ll use this space to say that I love you and I hate that you are gone. I smile at childhood memories of spunkiness and feist that flared from the little firecracker that we called “Fuzz: and “Tiny Texas.” You had my heart–just as if you were my own cousin. Some relationships are timeless–no matter how much time passes between seeing one another the love is just always there. We had that. I look forward to seeing you in eternity some day. I’ll hug you then, sweetie. For now, I’m so sad.

To April’s family: Deb, Clayton, Faye, Lowell, Denise, Dale and kids: I can’t express my sadness or my support for you adequately. Just know that you are all in my prayers and that for as many of my tears that are for April, as many fall for each of you. Love, Kristi (Warren) Slette

I can’t really express how sad I am at this news. Your company did some work on our yard this Spring and I had the opportunity to have a long converstaion with April. She was just a plain good person. I hope the memories of these last days will fade and the ones you will hold dearest will be of her loving heart, her laugh, her desire to do good things in the world, her effervescence and work ethic. She stands out in my mind for those things.

I want to express my deepest sypathy for your loss. April was a wonderful person, there were many times she gave me advise, wheather I wanted it or not,. But the best thing she ever did for me was she so shelflessly shared her daughter with me and my family. Something she didn’t have to do. But April put her kids first and she knew how important it was for her to have a relationship with her brother. And because of that we are all better people. I love Krysten with all my heart, she is one of my kids, and for that I love April. Rest in peace April, and thank you for such a wonderful gift you have given me.
