Aurora “Doris” Pacheco, of Marysville, Washington, was called home to her Creator on January 6, 2024; she was 65 years old.  She was born April 19, 1958 in Mexico City, D.F., Mexico to parents, Pascual and Santa Maria.  She was the third child with siblings, Tere, Rudy, Judy and Liz.

Doris graduated from Southwest High School, San Diego, California in 1974.  That same year she met the love of her life at church in El Cajon, CA.

Doris married Ezequiel “Zeke” Pacheco November 8, 1975.  During their first years of marriage, they lived in Southern California and then moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1979.

Doris held a long standing career of helping others, first working for Community Action in Skagit County and continuing her work with Women, Infants and Children (WIC).

Doris was an avid reader, you could find her with a book or Kindle at all times.  She enjoyed eating, shopping, traveling and most of all, spending time with family.

Doris was a woman of faith and her heart was filled with the love and spirit of God.

Doris is survived by her husband of 48 years, Zeke; son, Adam; daughter, Yvette; sisters, Tere and Judy; grandchildren, Esai, AJ, Shay and Kai; nephews and nieces, Michael, Cinthya, Nancy, Steve, Wendy, David, Benjamin and Vanessa.

Doris’ Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley, WA.  Share your memories of Doris and sign the online guest register.
