I grew up with Barbara and have many nice memories of time spent with her. In grade school. She & I liked to spend the night with Aunt Childress whenever Aunt Childress didn’t want to be alone. Barbara and I would have so much fun making fudge while we were there. That was always a fun treat. We would all work on puzzles together and do lots of visiting and laughing. Barbara and I played lots of “Jacks” together She was really good at that game!
We lost touch through the years but I will always remember Barbara with a smile. I hope that sharing these happy thoughts of Barbara will help ease the sorrow as her family & friends walk through this time. Sincerely,Irene Pearson

I will miss Barbara’s shining face and presence at our Kingdom Hall in Burlington. No matter how bad she felt she always was able to be gracious and cheerful. My thoughts are with all of you as you grieve the loss of a dear mother and mother-in-law.

I grew up playing with Ronnie, Gary, Ricky, Cheryl and Brian. I have so many wonder memories of Barbera. My mom and her were best friends and so our families spent a lot of time together. I have videos of us altogether at Birch Bay. That was way back when they had the little train and boat rides. Lots of summer nights with sparklers and Barbera always laughing and making sure we had treats and kool aide while the adults played cards. I hadn’t seen Barbera in recent years but her wonderful personality, warmth and loving nature are forever in my heart. Karen Bergquist Rhodes

    To the Hanson family,
Though I hadn’t seen Barbara in awhile I will never forget her warm and loving personality. I remember a time when she invited a large group of us over to her house to play some cards and have a wonderful turkey dinner. She kept saying “I’m not sure I really remember how to play this game” Then she proceeded to school us all in the finer art of playing pinochle. She always had a smile on her face. I feel truly blessed to have know her. The resurrection hope gives us all the strength to continue on and to hope in Jehovah and his grand promises for the future. Please know your family is in our families prayers.
