It has been a year since I attended Belinda’s Funeral service and didn’t get a chance to sign her guest book. I tried to find where she was buried, so that I could bring her some wild flowers to put on her grave. I wrote a poem for Belinda. My Friend Belinda

You departed from us a year ago to this day
I was left with so many things to you in which I’d like to say
Like ; How I liked to see the smile upon your face, How your friendship meant
so much to me , and I enjoyed working with you everyday
You always encouraged, motivated and loved others. You were a wonderful friend,
    Co-worker, confidant, and mother.
I miss you my friend and words can’t express the void that has been left
    When you went away.
My comfort is knowing you’re in heaven singing with the angels and that I’ll
    See you some day.
You are missed and loved by so many Sheila M. Hazel

I miss you….. I know you struggled for a long time, and I know you’ve found some peace at last, I just wish you’d been able to find it here. Who you left will be forever missing your smile, laughter and big heart. I think about how many times I sat with you crying over a broken heart and it breaks mine all over again….. I MISS YOU!!!!

When I think of Belinda the word “tender” comes to my mind, and then the word “angelic.” We’ve known each other since 4th grade. She lived with me on a couple occasion. Though our lives were busy with our own families when we saw each other we could always pick up where we left off. i was given the oppurtunity to re connect with her these last few months and i am soooo grateful for that. God gives us time so our hearts can heal, may he walk with you through this time of greiving. My heart goes out to each of her family members. I love B so much and I love you all too.

I knew Belinda since she was in high school, she was always with a great bunch of kids that I always enjoyed stopping by for a visit. She was a wonderful mother. And I remember when she filled her front yard with flowers. The last time I saw her she was still that same beautiful girl I knew years ago. She was loved by so many and left many sweet memories with us all. My love/prayers go out to her family and the many friends. Belinda earned her wings, but she will always be missed.
