Ben Abner Hutcheson passed away Thursday, July 3, 2003 on his 18th birthday at 3:00 PM as the result of an automobile accident in Sedro-Woolley, WA. He was born July 3, 1985 in Sacramento, CA the son of Ben and Sara Colley Hutcheson. Ben was a resident of Tonasket for the past 14 years coming here from Nevada when he was 4 years old. He attended Republic Schools and was a Junior at Tonasket High School. Ben was a dreamer and always looked to the future. He was fond of life and wanted to be an actor. Ben was smart and wanted to be somebody and thought about going to college or entering the military for more education. Ben is survived by his mother and stepfather Sara and James Perkins of Tonasket. 2 sisters Hannah Colley of Tonasket and Christina Jorgenson of Idaho. An aunt Susan Colley and cousins Brian and Rebecca Colley all of Tonasket. Grandfather Ben Hutcheson of Twin Falls, ID, grandmother Nancy Colley of Bridgeport, Nebraska, and grandparents Mary and Richard Aurich of Hayden, ID. He was preceded in death by father Ben Hutcheson, his grandmother Mary Rosalie Hutcheson, his grandfather Hal Colley and his great grandfather Frank Sadler. Ben will be surely missed by his friends and family.
Memorial Services will held at the Wauconda Community Church at 54 Toroda Creek Rd off of Highway 20 on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 10:00 AM with Norm Engeland officiating. A potluck picnic will follow the services at the Tonasket City Park. All are welcome. Arrangements under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
