Bonita Marie Small, 82, a resident of Mount Vernon, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Mira Vista Care Center in Mount Vernon.
She was born on May 1, 1931 in Wenatchee, Washington, the daughter of Vern & Opal (Knouf) Morgan. She was raised in the Wenatchee area until she was 6 years of age when the family moved to Acme. She attended and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School with the class of 1949.
She was preceded in death by husbands Eldon Schmidt and Henry Campbell.
Bonita is survived by her husband, Darrell at the family home in Mount Vernon; her sons, Damon Schmidt and wife Mary, and Darrell Schmidt; grandsons: Dan & Derrick Schmidt; granddaughters: Jana Schmidt, Debbie Harrison and Sarah Peterson; her brother, Don Morgan and wife Gloria; her sister, June Hoskinson and husband Scott; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and good friend Dolores Renfro.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the North Cascades Christian Fellowship, 118 N. Ball Street, Sedro-Woolley, WA 98284.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the North Cascades Christian Fellowship in Sedro-Woolley.
