I have fond memories of Carol and Frank – the last time we visited I believe cookies were involved. Such a dear sweet person. Always made me feel so welcome in her home. Condolences to all – but especially dear Frank and my former sister-in-law Jerri. God bless you mightily.

I will always remember my cousin Carolyn. As a little girl I loved to visit her and her sisters at their house in Hadlock, WA. Carolyn always had a smile and was so much fun and beautiful. I use to love sitting in her bedroom talking with her. Although I was five years younger than Carolyn, she always treated me as an equal and not the little cousin who love to hang out with the big cousins. My brothers & sisters always love to have Carolyn babysit us as we knew we were in for a good time; lots of laughs, stories, and games. One memory that will always be dear to me was the time our boy cousins came to visit and we all were at Hadlock house. Carolyn and her sisters built a fire out in the backyard to make us, what they called “Rock Stew”. Not sure what they put in it but when it came time to serve the stew the boy cousins said “Is it safe to eat”. Carolyn said “don’t know we ‘ll let Bethie try it first”. It was such an honor for me to be wih my older cousins. Carolyn was very talented in many ways and she was a great cook. You will always be in my memories Carolyn and I will miss you very much. I will never forget your smile and loving personality. Love you Carolyn.

What a Great Lady! Aunt Carolyn was such a sweet heart. At all the family gatherings you could always hear her laughter and it would draw you near her, She always welcome you into their home with open arms and ready to cook for you. We so enjoyed our trips to the ocean to Razor clam dig. We’d laugh and eat and tell stories the whole time we were there. To all her children and Grand Children you were so very lucky to have such a Great Lady in your life! We love Aunt Carolyn!!

I was so sorry to hear of your loss, Frank. I only met your wife once at our Alumni, but she was such a friendly and lovely person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your classmate- Mary Ellen

I have worked for a local grocery chain for 40 years and in that time I have met a lot of people. Of those people Carol is one of my all-time favorites. She was always in a good mood and it was a joy to see her when she came in to shop. I will miss her smiling face and her complimentary comments. My sympathy goes to her family for the loss of a wonderful lady.

“Aunt Carolyn” was a wonderful family friend to me, and I will miss her. She always had a big smile, and open invitation to sit at the kitchen counter and chat. “Uncle Frank” always had a story to tell, and he had a million of them! She will always remain a fine example of a wonderful person to me.

I will always remember the equal treatment that my Grandmother gave all of her grandkids. She used to take us to movie theaters, swimming and clam digging as kids. I never was a cake eater but on my birthday, My Grandma always made sure that I had one of her amazing wild blackberry pies. When we would work in the hay on the Farm in Sedro Woolley, she always showed an example of the values of strong work ethics. She made probably the best B.L.T. and deli sandwiches I will ever eat. It was her priority to always get the family together every so often for a great easter egg hunt, fathers day bbq, 4gh of July, Christmas and New Years.

    I love you Gram.
