Charlotte Wilma Young, age 74, passed away at her home at Walker Valley on Sunday, April 24, 2005. She was born November 10, 1930 in Arkansas, the daughter of William and Nellie Hawkins Young. She was married to Fred Young on August 17, 1965 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Charlotte was a resident of Walker Valley for the past 25 years coming here from Bothell, WA. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and most of all taking care of the family ranch. Charlotte is survived by her husband Fred of the family home at Walker Valley. 6 sons Roger Diers of Mount Vernon, Mike Diers and his wife Barb, Tim Tiers, and Bill Diers and his wife Julie all of Snohomish, Scott Diers of Mount Vernon, and Mark Diers of Monroe. 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her mother Nellie Lawyer of Twin Falls, ID. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, a grandson Kyle Diers, a brother Terry Lawyer and a sister Mary Schroeder.
