CLARA ‘INEZ’ IDE, 70, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away at her home on Thursday October 9, 2003.
She was born on May 11, 1933 in Sylva, North Carolina, the daughter of William & Mary Arizona Schuler Robinson. In 1944 the family moved to Sedro-Woolley and there Inez was raised and attended school.
Inez made her home in Kent, and worked for many years as a housekeeping supervisor for Motel 6. She also worked as a clerk in the shipping and handling department for Steltex, a wholesale linen distribution company.
Inez has been a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles Auxiliary, active in both King County and in Sedro-Woolley.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Inez is survived by her 2 daughters, Judith Meske and her husband Vern of North Bend, WA and Pam Brusch and her husband Mike of Mount Vernon.
Her companion and care giver, Phil Damon of Sedro-Woolley, and his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Steven Blasdell. Her good friend and former husband, Tom Daves of Mount Vernon. 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Allen Daves and by several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Monday October 13, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Van Zandt Cemetery near Deming.
