David Helmer Holmes, 57, of Sedro-Woolley, passed away August 23, 2011, at United General Hospital. David was born April 12, 1954 to Donald and Frances (Dosland) Holmes, in Belle Fourche, South Dakota.
David is survived by his son, Brock AdamHolmes; brother, Dexter Holmes and his wife Barbara; sisters, Judi Osburn, Donna Holmes, Elayne Worrell and her husband Steve, and his twin sister Debra Trinidad and her husband Terry .
He was preceded in death by his parents.
David was well known in Marysville and the Sedro-Woolley area, and had many friends. All his friends are welcome to come to a Memorial Service at Noon, Monday, August 29, 2011, at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. Be prepared to share with us the fun you had with David.
Although it has been many years since I have seen or had contact with Dave, we were close friends for several years. I knew him to be kind hearted and a fun spirited person. He left me with a precious and lasting memory that I will forever be grateful for. That living memory, will always remind me of the days when he was here. Alhough he is gone, he will never be forgotten.
