DEBBIE LYNN ROALSON, 50, a longtime resident of the Alger community, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham on Thursday January 29, 2004.
She was born on August 3, 1953 at Camp Lajeune, North Carolina, the daughter of Paul & Frances Bracewell Dudash.
With her father in the military she resided in several locations over the years, finally settling in Skagit County in the late 1960’s.
She has been a resident of Alger since 1980, where she owned and operated the Pit Stop Grocery and gas station for many years.
She enjoyed riding horses, camping and fishing.
She was a loving and caring mother, daughter, companion and friend and will be missed all who loved her.
She is survived by her companion, Rick Roalson of Alger. Her children, Shaun Ray and Amanda Packard, both of Alger. 3 grandchildren, Justin and Austin Packard and Kaylyn Ray. Her father, Paul Dudash of Lompoc, CA. 3 brothers, George Dudash and Eric & Ron Conger. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Dudash.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 14, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Alger Community Center. Mr. Tim Sconce officiating.
