Dolores ‘Lori’ Sniffen

Thursday, August 3rd, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dolores ‘Lori’ Diane (Williams) Sniffen of Sedro Woolley, Washington, born in Hollywood, California, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 65. Lori is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mark Sniffen; her daughters, Sabrina Sniffen, Melissa Rigdon, Kindra Rigby; sons-in-law Trevor and Taylor; grandchildren, Hayden, Kyson and Serenity; mother, Dawn Williams; as well as many other family and friends.

Lori was a fiercely passionate woman who loved deeply with a creative and beautiful soul. Her bright smile and big laugh filled the room and made all feel welcome. She was a talented artist who loved creating mosaics, stained glass, incredible gardens in addition to using many other art mediums. She loved nature and dreamed of one day having a house built into a tree and having a glass bottle meditation room. She always saw the beauty in objects and gave them a new life and purpose. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and grandchildren who she adored. Although she will be greatly missed, we are blessed to have been part of her world and to be able to continue to enjoy her art.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Samish Valley Grange, 4320 WA-9, Sedro-Woolley, Washington 98284. In Lieu of flowers, an online fundraiser will be set-up towards children gaining access to art/creating art in the inner city of Los Angeles. Share your memories of Dolores and sign the online guest register.
