How clearly I remember Don and his brother. I was younger than he, but often he would help my mother, Marjorie Williams, when in high school. Both of the boys were very special friends of all of the Williams clan. The day when told of the accident produced feelings that stayed with me over the years; Ron’s funeral was the first one ever attended.

After high school Don used to drop in to visit mom every once in a while. She was so appreciative. Perhaps we called him Donny. His life seems to have been filled with learning, travel, and I will bet hard work. Mother used to tell us how hard he worked. I just remember the kindness always expressed to my brother and to me.

My condolences to your family. How glad I am to have glanced at the paper this evening. Thank you for writing!
