Edward Everett Ray

Wednesday, March 13th, 2024

Edward ‘Ed’ Everett Ray, 55, of Mount Vernon, Washington passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024 at UW Medical Center with his daughter and son by his side in Seattle, Washington.

He was born on August 28, 1968 in Sedro-Woolley at United General Hospital and was the youngest child of Bill and Pauline Ray.

A lifelong collector, Edward had a passion for collectibles and finding “treasures” which brought him joy. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, contagious laugh, infectious smile, and the love he showed to his family, friends, and especially his two children. Edward left this world too soon, but we are all better for having loved him.

Edward is survived by his mother, Pauline Ray; daughter, Summer Ray; son, Josh (Camden) Ray; grandson, Fenn Ray; brothers David (Cyndi) Ray, Billy (Selena) Ray; sisters, Shirlene (Tim) Honcoop-Diegel, Diana (Marlin) Newhouse, and Marlene (Randy) Lemley.

A Celebration of Edwards life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00PM at the Burlington Community Center (1011 Greenleaf Ave., Burlington, WA 98233)

The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at UW Medical Center for the wonderful help and care they gave to Edward.

Please share your memories of Ed and sign the online guest register.
