Eli Russell Sleipness, of Pullman, WA unexpectedly passed away from SIDS on Saturday, December 29, 2012. He was born on December 17, 2012 in Pullman, WA. Eli is survived by his parents, Dr. Ole Sleipness and Amy Gibbs Sleipness and sister, Annabelle of Pullman, WA; grandparents Russell and Sonja Sleipness of Sedro-Woolley, WA and William and Kaye Gibbs of Sapphire, NC; great-grandparents, Esther Werdal of Seattle, WA and Martha Gibbs of Montgomery, AL; aunts and uncles Kjell Sleipness of Evanston, IL, Dr. Evan and Sarah Sleipness of Germantown, MD, and Will and Danielle Gibbs of Greenville, SC; great-uncles and aunts, Al and Karen Evenson of Knoxville, TN, Tim and Jubilee Whitman of Union, WA, Phil and Kris Werdal of Lake Forest Park, WA, Randy Werdal of Camano Island, WA, Scott and Barbara Donohue of Bothell, WA, John and Laurie Sleipness of Albany, OR, Al and Billie Gibbs of Camden, AL, David and Dana Morse of Arlington, VA, Gary and Carol Maxwell, Mike and Sheilla McCurley and Mark and Joya McCurley of Dothan, AL, and numerous cousins and extended family who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents; Lois Brendle Sleipness-Meehan and Alfred Meehan, Philip Werdal, John and Sue McCurley, and Grover and Billie Gibbs.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2012 11:00 am at the Rock of Ages Lutheran Brethren Church in Seattle, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Palouse Care Network, 1515 West A Street, Moscow, ID 83843
