EMILY ‘JANE’ HILTON passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2002 at the Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was 68 years of age. She was born on August 11, 1933 in Sylva, North Carolina, the daughter of Ott and Jerdie Shuler Morgan. In 1947 she came to Skagit Valley and settled with her family in Hamilton where she attended schools in Hamilton and Sedro-Woolley. Jane was a bartender and waitress for many years. She was married to Leonard Hilton in Sedro-Woolley on January 1, 1979 and they made their home in Lyman. Jane enjoyed quilting, canning, traveling with her husband and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard at the family home, a son Joe Wyatt of Hamilton, a brother Jack Morgan of Hamilton and a grandson B. J. Wyatt of Coos Bay, Oregon , 2 nieces, Jerdie and Crystal , 2 nephews, Marty and Mark. She was preceded in death by her parents , and a son Mike Wyatt.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2002 at 11AM at Lemley Chapel. Cremation and services under the care of Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
