George ‘German George’ Kostuch, age 73, a resident of Sedro-Woolley, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 peacefully at home.

He was born on January 14, 1946 in Germany.  He immigrated to and lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until moving to Sedro-Woolley seven years ago.  He worked as a truck driver and was an excellent woodworker and craftsman, and an avid motorcyclist.

George is survived by his wife, Karen R. Kostuch; children, Claudia Kostuch, Oliver (Sonya) Kostuch, Sarah (Mike) McGillis, Matthew (Brigette) Kofler and Vanessa Kostuch; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Cornelia Ullrich; brothers, Monfred Kostuch and Uhle Kostuch.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Inspire Church in Sedro-Woolley.
