Gregory Shane Morgan passed away on June 10, 2023 just 6 days shy of his 56th birthday. He was born on June 16, 1967 at United General Hospital in Sedro-Woolley, Washington to his parents, Ellen and James “Bud” Morgan. His parents and his brother Bud made a home in Burlington, WA.

Greg supported his family while working in construction with Snelson’s and Seven Sisters, then moved into agriculture and worked for Skagit Farmers in the Agronomy Department. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. Playing rugby and softball for many years. He loved watching and coaching his children play in all the sports. He very rarely missed a game. Greg became a part of us, with laughter, joy, and love. A pleasure to know and share life with.
Greg, you were a great man. As I got to know you over the last year or so, I have come to enjoy the conversations about your kids. You have loved and missed them so much. When I think of you, I laugh. You were a funny guy! You had become a great friend to many. You also could be quite the gentleman as well. RIP Greg, you are greatly missed already.
I’m going to agree with what Darran Grimstead said.
We all were good friends starting in 1973. As kids Greg would call my mom, Mom.
As we aged after we made it threw BEHS .
He started a family of boys that happen to be the same age and attending same school as my Boys SWHS.
Watching his Boys play football and his daughter Kate running around on the sidelines made him happy.
That was then and that is what I want to remember.
That Mischievous smile Says it all Rip my friend
One of the the things I loved about my time spent at the Morgan’s in elementary school, was the ability to swear freely and not get in trouble. Ellen and Bud were way more relaxed in this department. To say Greg had a colorful way of expressing himself through cursing would be an understatement, yet I cannot recall Greg expressing himself that way angrily or at least not often. Not to say that didn’t happen as I’m sure it did, but rather, I remember Greg using cursing most often in an endearing way depending on who he was directing it towards. If he called you shithead, he most certainly loved you. Goodbye my friend.
So many memories with the whole family. Greg will be missed by all. Rest in peace cuz.

Our son Graeme spent a lot of time with the Morgan’s when they lived near us. Rhonda and Greg treated him like one of the family. We had some good memories together. Sad to hear of his passing. Our thoughts are with the family.
It was a joy and privilege to have Greg stay with us at a time when he was struggling. When it came time for him to leave, I helped carry his bags to his vehicle. We stood in our driveway, arms around each other while I prayed for him. I cherish those memories! Please send us the address so we can join family & celebrate his life.

I have such great memories being neighbors to Greg and Rhonda. Many conversations with Greg at the fence. He was always busy with the kids, had a great smile and crap eating grin at times.
Best neighbors a person could have.

Greg was one who always treated me like family. He had a big heart and was always supportive to me and my girls. I am so sad to hear of this news. He was always so proud of his family. I will always have fond memories of him . Sending Love to Rhonda and Kids
The first thing that comes to mind when I think about Greg is how much he enjoyed and loved his kids. Throughout their high school years, whenever one of his kids had a sporting event in Whatcom County, Greg would invite me to attend with him. Greg was not a screamer at referees, but shouts of encouragement to his team/kids in that booming voice was something I grew accustomed to. I’m sure the kids enjoyed it as well:)
You will be missed buddy.
RIP my Friend
