TO THOSE I LOVE AND THOSE WHO LOVE ME

When I am gone, release me, let me go.

I have so many things to see and do.

You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears.

Be happy we had so many years.

I gae you my love, you can only guess

How much you gave to me in happiness.

I thank you for the love you each have shown,

But now it’s time I traveled on alone.

So grieve a while for if grieve you must,

Hen let your grief be comforted by trust.

It’s only for awhile that we must part.

So bless the memories within your heart.

I won’t be far away, for life goes on.

So if you need me, call and I will come.

Though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near.

And if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear

All of  my love around you soft and clear.

And then, when you must come this way alone.

I’ll greet you with a smile and say

“WELCOME HOME”

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and thanks to Country Meadows where Maxine was a resident for 10 years and who took such great care of her when it was needed.  The family would also like to thank Hospice of Skagit County for their wonderful care and compassion.

I just heard of your mother’s passing and what to say how sorry I am. Your mom was such a sweet, happy lady. Always seemed happy to see me when I was visiting my folks at Country Meadows. She and mom had many long conversations together, while living there. I know she will be missed by many. Take care and God bless you.
