Jacqueline (Jackie) Colette Solomon, 90 passed away peacefully at the family home in Concrete, WA on Saturday, October 23, 2021.  Jackie was born April 1, 1931 to Joseph J. and Marvel A. Joyce in Seattle, WA the middle daughter of four children.

Jackie grew up and went to school in Skykomish. WA where she met Theodore (Rusty) Solomon.  After graduating from Holy Names Academy in Spokane and Rusty returning home from the Korean War, Rusty and Jackie were married June 11, 1953 in Skykomish.  A short time later, they moved to Concrete where they had their family and spent 50+ years together.

Besides being a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Jackie worked many years at the State Bank of Concrete.  She loved playing cards with her friends at the Concrete Senior Center and their homes.  Jackie bowled every Wednesday morning followed by lunch at the casino until a couple years ago.

Jackie is survived by daughter, Joyce (Marvin) Mehlum of Conway; sons, Jeff (Patty) Solomon of Concrete, Joe (Michelle) Solomon of Burlington; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore (Rusty) Solomon; son, James (Solly) Solomon; grandsons, Nathan (Nate) Mehlum and Joshua (Josh) Solomon.

There will be a private family Graveside Inurnment.  A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at the Sedro-Woolley Eagles, 1000 Metcalf St., Sedro-Woolley.  Please take time to share your memories of Jackie and sign the online guest register.
