Jacqueline “Jacque” Johnson of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, passed away May 14, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital at the age of 56.  Jacque was born August 21, 1965, in Billings, Montana, the daughter of Joe and Veronica Belmarez.

Jacque worked most of her career in shipping and receiving in various companies.  On June 26, 2010, she was united in marriage to Jim “Butch” Johnson, the love of her life.  They made their home in Sedro-Woolley.

Jacque and Butch enjoyed many adventures together, traveling to Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, Alabama and Texas.  And many trips to Nebraska to visit their family.  She loved the outdoors, spending time with Butch, hunting, where she shot many deer, fishing and camping at Spectacle Lake.  Jacque also loved spending time with her family and friends.  The last several years Jacque, had devoted her time taking care of her husband, who she loved with all her heart.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim “Butch” Johnson; son, James (girlfriend, Tayanna) Couture of Sedro-Woolley; Dad, Joe Belmarez; sister, Joline Belmarez; brother, Frank Belmarez all of Billings, Montana; stepdaughters and spouses, Cheryl and Jeff Mogul, Kim and Scott Van Esch both of York, Nebraska; six grandchildren, Conner, Dalton and Kennedy Mogul, Kylie McGowen, Deven Van Esch and Rainy Couture; many extended family members; many good friends that will miss her friendship; and her beloved dog, Lakota.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Veronica Ten Bear; brother, Johnny Belmarez.
