JAMES ARTHUR TALLENT, 23, A Concrete area resident passed away Monday May 6, 2002 near Lyman, WA, the result of an automobile accident.
Jimmy was born on May 28, 1978 in Arlington, WA, the son of John & Anita Clark Tallent. As an infant the family moved to Skagit County where he was raised and attended school. Jimmy was one of those type of people who could be known as a Jack of all trades, one who had knowledge on how to do and accomplish many things. At the time of his death he was working at Leonard Hornbeck Logging. In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, video games and working on cars.
He is survived by his parents, John & Anita Tallent of Concrete. 4 brothers, ‘Hoss’ Cameron of Bellingham, WA, Andy Cameron in Alaska, Randy Tallent of Burlington, WA and John Tallent, Jr. of Seattle, WA. 6 sisters, Cindy Jones in Florida, Tammy Bible in Ohio, twin sisters, Karen Nystuen of Sedro-Woolley and Sharon Mendoza of Anacortes, Roxanna Tallent of Bellingham, WA and Patty Tallent of Mount Vernon, WA. A grandmother, Hilda McCurry in Michigan. Also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a niece.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 11, 2002 at 10:00 AM at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley. Pastor Chester Mitchell of the Northwest Missionary Baptist Church in Hamilton officiating.
