Jeremiah Cole “BUBBA” Jeffries 46, of Concrete, Washington passed away July 3, 2023 at home unexpectedly.  He was born August 18, 1976 at mile post 111 near Newhalem, WA to Richard and Larraine (Ogilvie) Jeffries.

Bubba is survived by his beloved wife, Amy; cherished daughters, Sydnee and Kassidy; best little buddy and grandson, Parker; best friend and brother, Richard Jeffries Jr.; parents in law, Tony and Kathy Davis.  He is also survived by a large extended family and numerous dear friends that were more like family than friends to him.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Bubba had a smile and a laugh that was so contagious it would get everybody laughing or could lighten any mood.  He was truly a gentle giant and a true friend to anybody that knew him.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Ray and Sandra Hambleton for their unconditional love and support.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the family home and the date will be announced at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in Bubba’s name to your charity of choice or to the Grasmere Volunteer Fire Department.

  • Rusty & Jamie

Bubba was one of the most kind kids in the class of 1994. He really connected all of us. Rusty and I are heartbroken. Rusty and Ritchie were in the same class (91). We’ve all known each other since we could talk. Just isn’t fair.
Our hearts go out to Amy and Ritchie, and thank you Ray and Sandra. We know how much of your hearts are giving to him.

Bubba, you are my brother. We grew up wrestling and lifting weights and cracking endless jokes. You and Ray always bring out the best humor in me, like no one else. I don’t know of any time in our lives where we were indifferent with each other. You have always been a solid true human being to us all. We have all been stronger more confident people with you in your corner; hands down. Everything I ever wanted to try to achieve you fully encouraged and supported and gave much needed constructive criticism when needed. Breathe on us breath of God, fill us with Bubba’s spirit, and let him know how much we love him. Thank you old friend for being my friend. I’ll miss you buddy.

Words cannot express how sadden I was to hear of Bubba’s unexpected passing. I remember the day he was born. I spent a lot of time with him and Richie in Newhalem when they were young as I was their caretaker for a few summers while their parents were working. I enjoyed seeing him at our annual KK reunion when he was able to make an appearance. I was excited as Bubba and I were supposed to share a campsite at this year’s reunion. It’s going to be difficult to be there knowing he won’t show up. My heart goes out to his family. Rest in peace Bubba 😢 Killowatt Kids forever…
